Happy Anniversary!

19yrs ago today I married my best friend! Yes believe it or not Rob and I have been married for 19yrs.. Through the good the bad and the ugly times we still have managed to remained the best of friends. I love you babe and I look forward to another 19yrs.

Spring has Sprung

I came home from the store a few days ago and little
Miss Lucy had found Robs socks! She finds trouble
anywhere she can and anytime she can. Life would be
boring without her.

It's been a rough last few weeks!

So the month of Febuary was crazy for us since Rob is super busy w/ work. Corby has been working hard at school, and working several hrs, plus he has a special girl in his life =) Brittney is busy w/ school, friends, babysitting, and her little Miss Lucy. I have been slammed w/ 1 of my case's I am involved in waist deep. I spent 3wks in court for a trial and it was a LONG 3wks to say the least. Well I was so excited b/c we FINALLY finished out trial and justice was served!! =-) my precious baby girl is in a safe place for now. But on the same day I couldn't wait to get home to my special guy and my amazing kids and just have a quiet night.. WRONG!! I get a message I needed to call the RV storage place as soon as possible. So my heart sunk as I dialed the phone and was told that our trailer had been broken into.. I was FREAKING out to say the least. So we rush down there to find that someone took what looked like a 2x4 and smashe a hole right next to the door knob reached in and unlocked the door. The made quite a mess of the place but nastier yet the slept in our bed =P YUCK!!! so needless to say we are waiting for our new door to arrive and then we get to go shop for new bedding! ~Thanks who ever you are but please DONT come back!

TERRIBLE NO GOOD VERY BAD DAY!!!

Ok so it should have been a GREAT day b/c its Friday but no it SUCKED!!!! First I wake up to Corby's girlfriend calling because it was 7:15 and the kids werent at school yet. Not a good start to the day. Then I fell asleep and normally the dogs will snuggle at my feet and sleep w/ me but NO Miss Lucy Lu found a unopened 2lb bag of Mocha Roca I had bought for my grandmas birthday and eaten it, then she some how got the soap off the counter and chewed on that. As if the 2lbs of Mocha Roca wasn't enough. Needless to say I was almost late for court for my CASA work and the vet needed to see her ASAP but that just wasn't possible. So I get home to a total mess and I will spare you the nasty details b/c I did what I could not to puke as I cleaned it all up. To rushing her to the urgent care vet. to find out that she could go into a cardiac arrest and if I took her home it was against their medical advise. Needless to say I told them I would be ok and that I would wake every hour for the next 2 nights to check her. (UGHHH) I assured them I would rush her back if anything didn't seem right w/ her. So they gave her IV fluids and a nausea injection and major bucks later I walk out of the clinic. Have I said it's been a terrible no good very bad day?? Well it was and I really hope I never have another like this one :O(

This would be our famous Lucy Lu who seems to find trouble anytime her mommy (Brittney) leaves.. The People at the vet named her "Mocha Roca"

Happy New Year

I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We had another amazing Christmas with our families. We once again brought up our Joe Dirt trailer and parked it in Kim and Tammy's front yard. It felt like National Lampoons Christmas and we were cousin Eddy :O) We spent early evening with the Hamstra's and finished off the evening with the Bergs. Christmas morning we did the norm and went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for breakfast and it was fun to see all the kids open their gifts and the excitement of the little ones when they get what they ask for. So here are a few highlights of our Christmas! Yes our kids had a very successful Christmas like always!
