Sept. 1, 2011

My baby girl is a junior in high school, where has the time gone?? She is growing up to be such an amazing young lady. Corby and Chyanne will soon be starting their second year at Pierce College and Corby will be turning 20 in a month. Hard to believe my kids are that old already. All I can say is enjoy ththem while you can because before you know it they will be all grown.

Its been a LONG while!!

So it's been sometime since I have been on here let alone posted anything new! Life at the Berg house has been crazy since the summer. I have taken on a second job with Gateways Youth and Families Evase program. I absolutely love it but it does take my Sundays away from my family but with the kids growing it often leaves Rob alone. I think sometimes he enjoys that as he can watch all the football he wants. But it also only gives us 1 weekend day togather to get things done or to do anything special togather. But when I get to work and see the smile that my kiddos get when they see their Mom or Dad makes it all worth it. I am still subbing at the school but things there have slowed down so I am looking for somethings to keep me busy and this was the perfect way.
Corby started Pierce College in the fall and it went ok but he just wasnt happy there so he has recently switched over to Green River Community College and he loves it. He has a new girl in his life and her name is Chyanne and she is his princess!! In December she moved in and has joined our family and we hope she will never leave. She is is #1 supporter when it comes to his riding and he has been out on the track once again after a yr off. They love to load up and take off for the weekend and be out on their own.
Brittney is a sophmore this yr and she is finding that she has to put alittle more work into school then in past yrs. Her classes are little tougher and require more work. She is still very social with her friends and loves to be out and about on the town with her friends.
Rob continues to be busy with with work and trying to get us back where the sunshines more then 10days a yr. (yes that is alittle exaterated)

Lucy Lu

So I have had some request for some more current pictures of Miss Lucy! This would be Lucy and Roxy on our way home from Winthrop and they are all tired out from a weekend of fun with the kids. Tess couldn't get enough Lucy time, she loves her But Roxy isn't a kids friendly dog so she spends most of her time in the trailer away from them all.

Lucy sitting in her favorite spot on the couch snuggled in the pillows!

Lucy chewing on her favorite blanket that she will drag all over the house and chews on it like a baby.

Her second favorite place is in Brittney's bed laying in her soft zebra blanket. She sleeps on this blanket every night.

Lucy sits her while we eat dinner every night and waits for us to finish. She knows not to beg she just waits patiently for Brittney to finish and go play. hard to believe how much she has grown over the last yr. when we got her. But she is by far the coolest dog we have ever had, her fun playful personality is amazing.

HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY BRITTNEY!!!

We spent the day as a family minus Corby since he is a working man now. We met Corby for lunch at Frisco Freeze. OMG what an amazing burger place in Tacoma that rates right up there with In & Out. We took our lunch and went down to the water front and ate and enjoyed the sunshine. After that we went to the DMV and she got her learners permit.

Graduation party!

June 12, 2010 we celebrated w/ all our family and friends Corby's graduation. It was a day of good food, lots of laughs, oh and generous gifts from all. Thanks to all who came down from Lynden and those locally we had a great time.
A side from my Grandma's fall coming into the house and us finding out 2.5wks later that she actually broke her hip. She is healing well and hopefully will be walking on it again soon.

1 More Day :-(

This is my AMAZING best son in the entire world and I couldn't be more proud of him and the choices he has made. I am sad that his high school is coming to an end but it's happy tears. This kid is going to ROCK the world with what ever God has planned for his future.
