Lucy Lu

So I have had some request for some more current pictures of Miss Lucy! This would be Lucy and Roxy on our way home from Winthrop and they are all tired out from a weekend of fun with the kids. Tess couldn't get enough Lucy time, she loves her But Roxy isn't a kids friendly dog so she spends most of her time in the trailer away from them all.

Her second favorite place is in Brittney's bed laying in her soft zebra blanket. She sleeps on this blanket every night.

Lucy sits her while we eat dinner every night and waits for us to finish. She knows not to beg she just waits patiently for Brittney to finish and go play. hard to believe how much she has grown over the last yr. when we got her. But she is by far the coolest dog we have ever had, her fun playful personality is amazing.

HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY BRITTNEY!!!

We spent the day as a family minus Corby since he is a working man now. We met Corby for lunch at Frisco Freeze. OMG what an amazing burger place in Tacoma that rates right up there with In & Out. We took our lunch and went down to the water front and ate and enjoyed the sunshine. After that we went to the DMV and she got her learners permit.

June 12, 2010 we celebrated w/ all our family and friends Corby's graduation. It was a day of good food, lots of laughs, oh and generous gifts from all. Thanks to all who came down from Lynden and those locally we had a great time.
A side from my Grandma's fall coming into the house and us finding out 2.5wks later that she actually broke her hip. She is healing well and hopefully will be walking on it again soon.

This is my AMAZING best son in the entire world and I couldn't be more proud of him and the choices he has made. I am sad that his high school is coming to an end but it's happy tears. This kid is going to ROCK the world with what ever God has planned for his future.

7 DAYS

Today the seniors had their bbq and yearbooks were handed out b/c their count down is on. 3 school days then they are done and graduation in a week. As I looked through Corby's yearbook as I always do in detail I was sad. My baby boy wont be in there after this yr. he's almost out of school. I think back to his middle school yrs and they were pretty rough and I couldnt wait for this day to come. Now I find myself sad and wishing I could have those yrs back. Well minus grades 6-8 they werent so memorable... He has gone through more in the last few yrs then I have thus far in life. Its amazing how the death of a close friend impacts the way you view things and I have to say it has changed Corby more then people realize...
But I couldnt help but to think about Keane's family last week when the Buena class of 2010 graduated on what should have been the best day of Keanes life. He would have been 18 and graduated all on the same day. My heart is thinking of them every day but last Thurs. May 27, 2010 I thought of them all day and prayed for the day to just hurry bye so the pain wouldn't be so bad.

Bunnie,Chelsea, and Family you are always on my mind and Keane is always close to my heart.

Congradulations Buena's class of 2010

Four yrs ago Corby said goodbye to his AMAZING classmates in Sierra Vista before transferring up To White River High School. One of his best buddies Bryan posing w/ their 8Th grade promotion certificates. I am sure Mr. Spriggs and Mrs. Sadorf were glad to move these little monsters up to the high school! They spent alot of time with them both those 3yrs at middles school. :O)

But today 5/27/10 these kids or I should say adults are finally graduating. As Corby will be thinking of you all and will be there in spirit as he has another week before he will be walking acrossed that stage and joining you all as high school graduates. So we just want to say "CONGRATULATIONS BUENA CLASS OF 2010"

19yrs ago today I married my best friend! Yes believe it or not Rob and I have been married for 19yrs.. Through the good the bad and the ugly times we still have managed to remained the best of friends. I love you babe and I look forward to another 19yrs.

I came home from the store a few days ago and little
Miss Lucy had found Robs socks! She finds trouble
anywhere she can and anytime she can. Life would be
boring without her.

It's been a rough last few weeks!

So the month of Febuary was crazy for us since Rob is super busy w/ work. Corby has been working hard at school, and working several hrs, plus he has a special girl in his life =) Brittney is busy w/ school, friends, babysitting, and her little Miss Lucy. I have been slammed w/ 1 of my case's I am involved in waist deep. I spent 3wks in court for a trial and it was a LONG 3wks to say the least. Well I was so excited b/c we FINALLY finished out trial and justice was served!! =-) my precious baby girl is in a safe place for now. But on the same day I couldn't wait to get home to my special guy and my amazing kids and just have a quiet night.. WRONG!! I get a message I needed to call the RV storage place as soon as possible. So my heart sunk as I dialed the phone and was told that our trailer had been broken into.. I was FREAKING out to say the least. So we rush down there to find that someone took what looked like a 2x4 and smashe a hole right next to the door knob reached in and unlocked the door. The made quite a mess of the place but nastier yet the slept in our bed =P YUCK!!! so needless to say we are waiting for our new door to arrive and then we get to go shop for new bedding! ~Thanks who ever you are but please DONT come back!

TERRIBLE NO GOOD VERY BAD DAY!!!

Ok so it should have been a GREAT day b/c its Friday but no it SUCKED!!!! First I wake up to Corby's girlfriend calling because it was 7:15 and the kids werent at school yet. Not a good start to the day. Then I fell asleep and normally the dogs will snuggle at my feet and sleep w/ me but NO Miss Lucy Lu found a unopened 2lb bag of Mocha Roca I had bought for my grandmas birthday and eaten it, then she some how got the soap off the counter and chewed on that. As if the 2lbs of Mocha Roca wasn't enough. Needless to say I was almost late for court for my CASA work and the vet needed to see her ASAP but that just wasn't possible. So I get home to a total mess and I will spare you the nasty details b/c I did what I could not to puke as I cleaned it all up. To rushing her to the urgent care vet. to find out that she could go into a cardiac arrest and if I took her home it was against their medical advise. Needless to say I told them I would be ok and that I would wake every hour for the next 2 nights to check her. (UGHHH) I assured them I would rush her back if anything didn't seem right w/ her. So they gave her IV fluids and a nausea injection and major bucks later I walk out of the clinic. Have I said it's been a terrible no good very bad day?? Well it was and I really hope I never have another like this one :O(

This would be our famous Lucy Lu who seems to find trouble anytime her mommy (Brittney) leaves.. The People at the vet named her "Mocha Roca"
